There’s something new cooking – literally, just a breath from Parken, in the heart of Østerbro. Abaco is all about experimenting, creating new tastes to share with you through a seasonal menu, and locally sourced, fresh top quality raw materials.

Our chefs and owners, Alexandros and Agathoklis, started their journey in Ioannina, northwest Greece. The rich, flavourful tastes of Mediterranean cuisine shaped their childhood memories.
From there, their inquisitiveness and love for cooking took them on a journey around Europe. Working as chefs in high-paced, fine dining restaurants, they honed their skills in kitchens in France, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland and Denmark.
Copenhagen was their final destination – the place where the seed for ABACO finally took root. Their aim is simple – to create dishes that reflect their unique, multi-layered cultural identities and push street food to its gastronomic boundaries
Central to our mentality is a zero waste mentality. Our always fresh ingredients are treated with attention to detail, utilizing a leaf to root approach. Combining sustainable cooking techniques and globally inspired cuisine, we aspire to offer you unforgettable culinary experiences
